Hoi Polloi

"Hoi Polloi" was created at the workshop "Verdlaslaboratoriet 2010" where acting students from HiNT, a writer and a director created a film by a spesific technique af improvisation. Led by theathre pedagog Sandra Mladenovic, the zanzibar/norwegian writer Issak Esmael Issak transformed a guided impro on the topic Envy, info a somewhat mythic libretto, witch again was transformed into a film. In the miljø of a hotel/museum in Stiklestad - the place where the major battle of the christening of Norway took place in 1030, two long lost sisters are reunited after battles of pride, vanity, envy and other obsticles.The teaser is a rough edit before the real edit, and therfore contain Søimer Guttormsens simple sompossition/sounddesign.For the final movie (dur: 32), musician Jonas Barsten composed music.
